Nutec 0 Posted March 21, 2009 Just received my new Laserpoint 48" cutter and set it up, no biggie there, but find it strange there isn't any instructions in the way of pictures showing the correct installation of the blade, or how the vinyl roll is placed on the rods. Can you help? What I mean is, there are 2 rods 1 with guides and the other with nothing on it. So I put the vinyl roll on the guided rod , but do I thread the vinyl around the other rod. The knife holder on the cutter seems very tight, extremely tight, I loosen the thumb screw all the way and it takes a lot of force to install the blade holder. Is this normal? Just want to make sure I'm doing this correctly. Paid not a real lot of money for the equipment, but times are slowly getting tougher and I want to make some money with this thing and not break it or put undo stress on it.
