biggin69 2 Posted March 21, 2009 I am doing some lettering on an ice cream truck and have no clue how to price it. It is all one color. Should I charge by the square inch or? Thanks in advance for any advice given. Dan
2GuysSign 4 Posted March 21, 2009 Charge by square inch, your labor for installing, make sure to mark up materials and installation goodies because those are not FREE!
biggin69 2 Posted March 21, 2009 Ok. It is a total of 6000 square inches. What is a good price per square inch?
firemalt 10 Posted March 21, 2009 Wow... that's a lot of sq. inches. @ $0.10 that comes out to $600. If you have that much signage to to cut/install, I would suggest going by the sq foot.(divid the 6000 sq in. by 144(sq. in. in 1 sq. ft.) and charging roughly $5 per sq ft.(their cost for the material), and then charge accordingly for installation(average of $45.00 per hour). Good luck on the job.
