Recommended Posts

I am doing some lettering on an ice cream truck and have no clue how to price it. It is all one color. Should I charge by the square inch or? Thanks in advance for any advice given. Dan

Charge by square inch, your labor for installing, make sure to mark up materials and installation goodies because those are not FREE!

Wow... that's a lot of sq. inches. @ $0.10 that comes out to $600. If you have that much signage to to cut/install, I would suggest going by the sq foot.(divid the 6000 sq in. by 144(sq. in. in 1 sq. ft.) and charging roughly $5 per sq ft.(their cost for the material), and then charge accordingly for installation(average of $45.00 per hour).

Good luck on the job.
