jammoresigns 0 Posted February 11, 2009 I am getting ready to put a lawn sign together for a contractor friend of mine (24x36 steel frame) and wondered what is recommended as a good substrate. I would rather use a thicker material than aluminum and also want to paint a background color so what is suggested. Do I use marine plywood at 3/4 thick or a type of sign board and what would be the best type. also for the paint to use to color the background ? just regular house paint or is there a better alternative? thanks Jim I just set up my copam 2400 and am ready to cut , successful on paper thanks for the advice
midwaste 4 Posted February 11, 2009 Check http://www.harborsales.net/productsandservices.cfm. They have a ton of different substrates, including marine plywood and metal-faced panels, which is what I would use.
