Im not sure if this helpful or not since im still in the learning process but I tried looking for this and couldnt find anything. What i would try is putting the image in photoshop etc and cropping the image just to show the bike, print it,trace all the lines with a good marker and scan into photoshop etc and take out all the color and vector magic it and see how that works. Or try to erase the colors in the bike in photoshop and save the image for vector magic etc and see what happens.Sorry i cant be more help on this .Just trying my best in the forum..

Im hoping someone can help me out here.What im trying to learn and i cant seem to find it unless i dont know what to look under .. What im trying to do is i have an image of a t-rex head and a separate image of T-rex arms that i want to join together to make them one cut instead of having the 2 images cut separately.Ive tried placing them so they are touching each other and trying to get them to join under path but it tells me it cant cause im doing it wrong.. So hopefully some can give instruction as to what im doing.. Here is the file if uploads correctly..If you Ungroup the arms from the head you will be able to move each image individually .I couldnt get the file uploaded that i wanted, So this one will work and i know the 2 ends are not the same size if you tried to join them,So im just wanting to know how to make them as 1 image to prevent the 2 images from having a cut between the arms to the neck If you understand what i need...I hope i explained it enough for everyone..Thank you for your time and help.. Thank you clhyer,Wildgoose,Skarecrow,Im using Ai cs6.And skarecrow you nailed it and i didnt know that was going on,not sure what i did lol but all my other art work has had no issues if they had that in there as well when its cut.All cuts have been perfect..Now if i can figure how you did it and do it in Ai lol .And Wildgoose its supposed to be like that with no body, i tried the image on the the tyrex 800 atv with and without the body and i felt it looked better without. Thank you guys so much.i just have to figure out how to do what you did. I have ai cs6,Vector magic and inkscape.I cant get myself to understand inkscape for some reason,so ive just stuck with Ai and vector magic.. You all Rock.. Skarecrow what do you use?

Im looking for some good claw marks with claws scratching thru.Its got to be close to what a T-Rex claws would look like .Ive been trying to clean up what i really liked and would work but im having a difficult time getting it to look correctly when it cuts.Im cutting each claw pattern(scratch) separately so i can apply them to make them fit as they should be .These are going down the sides of a Tyrex 4 person Quad that is going to have a T-Rex Head on the hood.Ive got the head all Designed up but now its the claws.If you have something really close to this i would love to it.Im hoping this image i attached will show up.If anyone can help i would gladly send some paypal cash to you if you wish..Thank you Claw tears ungroupedConverted.svg

Ok ,so i tried exactly what you said, i found the transform section after i selected the whole image like you described ,when i went to join this is what popped up on my screen.....-----> "The selected objects cannot be joined as they are invalid objects(Compound paths,Closed paths,text objects,Graphs,Live paint group). You can use Join command to connect two or more paths, Paths in groups, or to close an open path... " So i think i missed something?

Thanks The only reason i was asking about it was because i started getting the free roll samples from them in 48"x5 yrd lengths 10 yr and expecting more.So i was curious between the two numbers to 3m numbers so i get the equivalent quality or better,I dont want to end up getting lower quality than what im already using..

Thanks 360Jeep.Ya i think im like 2 1/2 hours from any supplier. Ive been getting most from uscutter cause they get it here in like 2 days.Im only sticking with the best for what i do.The 3m brand has a 10 yr on what they have started to send me for free in sample rolls.

Thank you everyone...I got it taken care of.Ya it will,i hope to have it all cut and installed sunday.Just have to cut the head and front claws now when larger vinyl gets here today.I have a couple free 48"5yd rolls from 3m coming this next week for my other job i have for a tuck.This will be my largest cut so far.

Customer decided to switch it up on me now..They sent me this to show me what they wanted and im not sure where to start in the cleanup process.I cant seem to get it correctly to look good.Thank you all for ideas or suggestions to help me .
