So I've been doing Army signs since like July of last year. I know how to vectorize. I'm not an artist. If a buddy says what would look cool on my Harley as a pinstripe or a design, guess what, I don't freaking know. I make signs that go on buildings on base and recruiting posters. So if I ask a question, it's to learn and don't need a smart ass comment back. Because I'm not making money off whatever you tell me.

All I did was ask for advice for a buddy looking at pinstriping his Harley and you said go search the internet. I forget maybe it's not the old thing, but rather the north thing. Maybe a mixture. I can guarantee you're older and from the North without knowing anything about you. Here is the South we're nice people to each other. We'll give you the shirt off our back if you need it. Guess that's what's different on the internet. Different geography with different types of people.

No MZ Skeeter I won't need a font identified since what I do is Army based and not much personal, I don't need fonts identified. Thanks Skeeter.

Has any ever pinstripped a Harley? If so, what kind is a good idea? Anybody have a vector?

Why search the internet when there's so many helpful people here usually willing to help? I see graphic requests all the time that people have stuff.

That's still true as far as Ford's. Chevy parts are cheap down here and everywhere in the junk yards. Ford parts are way too high.

Well I let it sit for awhile before cutting it and it did better, but the centers of the A's are still ripping instead of cutting. Guess I'll have to exactoknife all of the A's.

I keep having this problem. Is it the space is to close? I've changed blades and it's still doing it.

Talking about the say black coated brass so when you engrave it's the brass color underneath?

My Mimaki does it too. When it cuts it finds the registration marks, moves outside the area, and marks it with the blade. I don't know about your's though.

Corel won't open EPS?

I'll set the cutter on the registration marks and cut it, and it's off and not exactly on the print then when I do that. It's so aggravating.

The problem with that on this style is it's hard to get it lined back up to cut it the next day

It's 1/2 inch letters. It's not laminated. It's just regular 3M Scotchcal Vinyl. It's a Mimaki CJV30-130. It prints it and then cuts it so it cuts immediately.

That's what came with the machine. Who knows lol. When the Army wants something, they put it out for a bid. The company who won the bid sent us the setup.

It's 3M IJ180-C Vinyl with a 30 degree blade.
