If you don't mind small (8.5x11) sheets, you can pick up an Epson C88 or C88+ fairly cheaply - they use the same pigment-based ink as the 1100 - I use mine all the time for photo transfers. The 'ink jet vinyl' is called 'opaque' or 'dark' transfer paper. These get printed face-up, can be cut and are transferred like heat vinyl. Here's a couple videos demonstrating opaque inkjet transfer material: Basic usage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWVIyEol79o Print and cut using a vinyl cutter:

SHARE HOW YOU STAY ORGANIZED WITH YOUR ART FILES AND BUSINESS

For Corel files, ROMCat will do the same thing. -
Stick them between a flat table and a heavy board for a while, but don't take it out until you're ready to use it, because after a bit it will curl again.

LP24 cutting 2-3 times on the same letter

drag a selection box over a part you're concerned about and look at the status bar - it'll tell you how many objects are stacked. -
SBE won't run under WINE, you'd need an actual windows machine to use it.
-
You can try this: At the bottom of the SB window you'll find the properties bar - click inside one of the 'Size' number fields and change it to something more manageable, then View->Zoom All to see everything, drag your image back to the work area, then back to View->Zoom Work Area.

Britannic Bold is similar, but wider and tails on 6 & 9 are a little bit different.

The only time I had a problem with that so far is when I made an object (a star) and didn't covert it to a curve before exporting - perhaps this might be what's happening for you. -
Looks like it was hell to weed - how long did it actually take?

As far as the letters go, Choc, Speedline, Artbrush, Sacrifice are closer. Haven't found anything with similar numbers yet.

In the settings, you can tell it to advance the home position after a tile is cut.. (lower left in image)

DVI and HDMI use the same data to describe video, so if you have a HDMI source and a DVI monitor, you can use a dvi-to-hdmi adapter cable. They're available all over the place. -
One of the images in your import folder is probably causing the problem - check your import folder for a file with the .ERR extension and remove the corresponding image.

That is really too small to get a good auto trace out of. Start with a larger image.
