Lakes Area Graphix, Sign Worx, banners.com, Wholesalebannerz.com, and others.
-
Also they have paid some big money for some top ranked domain names. They do alot of internet sales
-
Old company just a new name and location. They been around for quite some time.

Bring it up and we will print it on a wrap material, much easier to put on ;-)
-
They are not any cheaper than any other screen printer. Right on par for pricing as far as I can see.

I am curious was it painted or just shot quick with a colored gelcoat. That is the question we will never know as they could of still missed a lot and given it the appearance of over spray on edges with splatter and all. I would assume if it came from the manufacturer it would of not been painted. Popped out of mold, seams ground down then buffed back to gloss and done. Every glass shop I worked in that was the procedure. But as always I could very well be wrong, just my assumption,

Sounds like all the mold release was not removed from the surface. It was probably not painted just gel coated in the mold.

Most of my stuff is paid for. Just the building. I quess I could always open a roller rink. Haha

I say that every night. Only way I can fall asleep, lol.

I started large format printing about 10 or more years ago. Did a lot of marketing/adveriising for some big brands in the cosmetic and beauty realm. When the market came down I took on printing full time. Then bought my first cutter maybe 5 years ago. Had old experience screen printing so also picked that up. Was a Cad/Cam programmer for quite a few years so lots of pc experience plus been working with Adobe products sine the late 90's.
So now a big ol shop, just bought the building I am in, its about 10,000 sg ft, just kicked all the renters out, knocking down walls and bringing in more power. Making room for a flatbed next winter and a new 8/8 press coming in April.
Only problem is my debt in this is well over 6 figures. Thinking I should go write G-code again, lol.

what kind of finishing is that mean are they a rough what are they rustic looking? are they stained and clear coated? prime painted polished? Mounting are they going to be on standoffs about an inch off of the wall?
I would not suggest mdo unless you have a cnc. Stuff cuts harder than plywood.
10 letters that big depending on finish I would be at least 500. Finished nice and mounted if I made them well over a grand. Why not order from gemeni?
-
if you do plan on making these I would suggest HDU or expanded PVC, even pink foam is going to be much easier to work with in shape and going to hold paint a lot better.
-
And what do they do with the ones that dont sell 1 day after Halloween?...I know thanksgiving is coming and some use them to ornate their yard or porch..pie!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here, Straighten the letters out and your good to go, lol.
But i am sure you need the whole letter set for more than just this type so my attempt is wanked.

How are you connected to printer? Are you setup correctly in production manager?

Any printer can print it for you.

Use vinyl off and be done with it. Why go thru all the work? Spray it on, eat a sandwich, Pull it off or Hit it with a pressure washer and it will all be on the ground. Simple and easy. I prefer the Reflective super strength if the substraignt can handle it.

7 year life expectancy. 5 years its going to degrade depending on how it was cared for and so many variables that you have not seen. 5 years on a vehicle I would say is about all you can expect from that material. Why use pen? I would think that would hinder life as any solvent like that in contact with the film and adhesive would have adverse affects over time. Really hard to tell from picture what is happening also.

I have x6. Layers and gradients don't always export correctly I'm any conversations so always be sure you have a raster or pdf of the original first reference just in case

There are various paints it simply will not stick to. Do not assume it will stick to everything cause it will not. What type of paint? I suggest you getting same type, brand, color and trying for your self. Beyond that you really do not know.

the steel rod is to initiate the blade for the sheet cutoff only, has nothing to do with position. When you start up it goes to there to ensure the cutoff blade is not exposed. Generally when I would see that error on CNC machines had to do with encoder in the servos. But it could be much simpler than that. One never knows without look, see, feel, touching it.

Not I. I tried a few years ago and was not comfortable with them. I know a bit more now and was thinking and trying again after the new year when I have my remodeling done.
