  1. I don't mean to call anyone out about this but I've seen a few cases on this forum where people have received their cutter in a damaged condition or something was missing. It's bad business practice to let units go out like this and it's bad business practice to tell them to pay more money to fix the machine. It wasn't their fault that their machine was damaged. Just my 2 cents, but I would start replacing the parts or start shipping them out right.
  2. Mouse pads. Wrestling singlets. Shorts. Tote bags. I can think of many possibilities.
  3. When I do lengthy cuts, it stops in the middle of sending and shuts off my laptop. This has caused me to waste a ton of vinyl already. So do you think if I get this keyspan thing it wil solve my problem? I don't have a serial port otherwise I would use it.
  4. Heat press! Although I need one like...now. lol.
  5. Engravers and CNC would be awesome! I'd like to get a solvent printer first, though.

    Shuts off while cutting

Okay, so I tried cutting it in 3 cuts. This will work but I need some help again. I cut color one with no problem. Onto color two. I start the cutter in the same origin as the first cut but color 2 is smaller so it doesn't line up at all and then it cuts weeding lines for color 2 through the color 1 cut. Not gonna work. I could cut it 3 times, on different spots on the vinyl but I'd rather not waste that much vinyl nor do I want to go through the hassle of trying to line up 3 cuts. Am I going to have to do it the hard way or does anyone have some suggestions. Help is very appreciated as I have to cut like 15 of these stupid things. Anything is possible, very little is easy.

    Shuts off while cutting

Yeah I'm using an Acer Aspire 5000 notebook and it doesn't have a serial port so I have to use USB. I've unplugged and retried it before. No luck. I think I'm going to try breaking it up into sections and cutting it. Hopefully that works. If it doesn't it looks like I may be upgrading the computer....again. lol. I'll let you know.

    Best Heat Transfer Vinyl

Is thermoflex plus durable? As soon as I get a heat press I'm going to start making shirts too. I want stuff that will stay on the shirt for years, not a couple washing cycles.

    Trucker Girl Silhouette

Ahh, I get it. Thats about the same result I got vectorizing with Corel. I'd like to have a little more detail. Anyone know where to get one already in vector? Thanks for trying Ken.

    Trucker Girl Silhouette

Anyone have a good vector version of this they're willing to share?
  12. Make sure your blade isn't set too low that it hits the vinyl when there's no force on it. After my MH721 gets done cutting the decal it makes weeding lines and then it goes diagonally across the decal but doesn't cut the vinyl.

    PRINTER / Cutter !

I'd definitely buy the printer/cutter too. I can think of so many more possibilities...and I wouldn't have to layer my decals 4 times for 4 colors, lol. I don't have 15 grand to spend on a roland right now. Look into them!

Wanting to cut just squares and rectangles

Buy a 5 dollar paper cutter at dollar general. it'd be a hell of a lot cheaper and easier than using a vinyl cutter.
