Paul..thanks for the info, I am new to screenprinting, but I do have a sign shop....I might try making a vinyl stencil for my screen, that sounds like it would be better & get a screen ready faster then emulsion.

Does anyone know what type of vinyl is used for this? I thought it was Avery True Shadow, but is there a better option? I am sending it to a customer to install & Avery told me it would need to be laminated or the edges sealed for it to have any chance of surviving on a vehicle.

I just received an e-mail from a potential customer (scammer??) & I was coming on here to get some pricing info, when I came across several other posts regarding a very close email form a Samuel dude, the one I got was from a Mark Holland wanting 40 banners 3'x8' with a church related saying on them wanting to pay by credit card. When I first read this email my scammer senses went up, now i am almost 100% positive it is a scam, but I am going to play a little game with him ( I am bored).... Below is the e-mail so all can be warned!!! Hello Sales I want to make a purchase of Banners and find the artwork of the banner attach in the email. I want the Banners to be as show on the artwork, and I need 40 Banners and I want the same artwork on all of the banners, here is the size I need 3by8 with grommets,outdoor and on vinyl material. Get back to me with the grand total excluding shipping, and I'll make payment to proceed with the Order,Also what is the surcharges for using Visa or master card for payment,do include your contact information as well. I have a customer who wants some magnetic business cards....can you do these on a print & cut machine??? Thought about doing them in vinyl, then thought about all the weeding of tiny letters & it would be a nightmare.... So if anyone has a print & cut setup & can do this let me know....

I have a customer who has a 2004 F250 Crew Cab & he wants the Harley ghost flames that came on the Harley edition truck.....Does anyone know where I can find the factory specs for these ghost flames? I have a pic of some on a truck & I know the general design of the flames, but need the specs to see how long they are & the height of the flames....The customers truck is not around my area, so I can't measure it....So it's locate the specs or off to the dealership for some secret measuring....

I am going to do the flames by hand in Inkscape so I will not be copying anyones work....I will change it up a little here & there....What I am mainly looking for is how long & wide they are....I have a picture of the ghost flames on a Harley Ford truck, but I need either the measurements of the flames or the trucks measurements....I have no truck to measure, so I am looking for the flames measurements.... if someone has a 2004 F250 measurements from back of the front wheel well to the front of the back wheel well & how high is the crease in the door from the door bottom... Is there any way to find this info out? Are do I just have to find one & start measuring - (that could get you shot around here) Anyone have any ideas??

I have seen that post before & it is some scary stuff....I do know this person personally & have known him for over 20 years...Also I am just talking about ghost flames, I don't think that just ghost flames can be copyrighted, can they???

Thanks for the help....I have it cut out now....I re-traced it & then everything cut perfectly, I think you was right about it not being welded together....I just got in a hurry & left out that step.....

Hi....I used to be on here as Uncle Remus, but somehow it would not let me log on under that name.....Now I have a serious problem, I have some time into designing a Texas masonic emblem for a customer....All is finally finished, i thought anyways, but when I go to cut the design it cuts out the Texas, & part of the compass & ruler, but will not cut the complete image....Any suggestions? I tried everything, but just figured it out - I exported a bitmap image of it & then re-traced it & now everything appears fine.....thanks for the help everyone....

No nothing like that, the cutter completes the cut as usual, but half my design is not cut out....the Texas outline is perfect & part of the compass is fine, but none of the ruler & the detail on the compass is just missing.....I have designed & cut out 100's of designs & this is the first time I have ever had this problem & i am lost on what the problem is....I assume it is something in the design that i did wrong, but have no idea what.....
