I got it back by clicking view, toolbars, then checking standard. Reinstalling flexi just for that seems like it would be a lot of trouble. I'm glad I didn't have to do that! Thanks for the help!

I imported a picture into Flexi, and I also have some text that I created that I want to put on the picture to see how it will look. How do I combine the picture and the text so that I can export it out? Right now, when I move the text onto the picture and then click on the picture, the text moves behind the picture so I can't see it. I need the text to stay on the picture so I can save it that way. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for the help!

Hi, I am using Flexisign Pro 8.1 and I would like to use the horizontal path text. When I select that tool and then I click on my workspace to start typing, it says: need to click on a path or a figure with single outline. How do I do that? I want to type some text on a curved, bumpy line. Thanks!!

Now I did something that is making my text type on top of each other - no spacing in between the letters. And it seemed to save that way because when I restart flexi and start a new project, it's still doing it. How can I fix it? Thanks!!

The kerning tip actually helped. I know how to do the adjusting in design central, but I was having to do it for each word I typed because it was just typing one letter on top of the other for some reason. It didn't do that before so I know I clicked on something. I did some adjusting in the kerning and now it seems to be back to normal. So thanks for your input you guys!!

Hello, I have Flexi Sign Pro 8.1 and I have a Roland cutter/printer and a Seiki SK870T cutter. In the production managager I am trying to add these cutters and I found my Roland on the list but the Seiki model I have is not on the list. Should I choose a different model and will it still work fine? Or what should I do to add my Seiki? Thanks!

I tried to save the font into my fonts folder, but when I opened Flexi to type my text, I chose the font and it won't type anything at all in that font. Any suggestions on how to fix that? Thanks!

I found it on the Com1 port. So now it's working. Hopefully no more write port errors now!!

The place we got our cutter from sent us a usb to serial adapter, but my computer has a serial port on the back still. I have to use my older XP computer to run things because I have Flexisign pro 8.1 and it won't work on my new Vista computer I guess. Some day I will hopefully upgrade to the newest version of Flexi so I can use my new computer, but not right now. Anyway, do I still look under the ports tab in device manager to find out what port it is? Will it be called a com port or something else? Thanks!

I have a Seiki SK870T that we bought off of ebay a few months ago. When it works, it works good. But a lot of times it has a write port error and then when that happens, I have to shut everything off, including the computer and restart and then it works again. It was having one every single time I first turned it on. I contacted the place who we got it from and they said this is caused by either the usb cable, the usb port on the computer or the usb plug in on the cutter. So they sent me a new usb for the cutter that I had to install and it still didn't work, so they sent me another one, and then it worked better but still gets the error sometimes so now they sent me something else that I am supposed to use to convert the usb to a serial port but I haven't had time to do that yet. Anyone ever have this issue with their Seiki, and if so, how did you fix it? Thanks

I did try typing some text first, but it it didn't curve. I did look at the help file but it says to click on an existing path or shape and I don't know how to do that. Sorry, I'm still learning how to use Flexi, haven't had it that long.

I downloaded a vector and it seems to have a cut line going through one area that I don't want there. I am using Flexisign pro 8.1. Can someone please tell me how to remove it? I tried to upload the image but it said I can't upload that type of file. It's saved as a flexi FS or PD file. Thanks for the help!
