Hi, what is the best vinyl to use for printed bumper stickers and labels? We have a Roland SC500 and we've tried using one kind of Oracal but didn't like it because it seems to flimsy and the edges curl when it's printed to the edge. I think it's called series 3165 so I was hoping there is a better one someone can recommend? Thanks for the help!

Hi, I have a customer that wants some printed stickers about 4"x2.5" They will be printed with our Roland SC500 and will be black with white letters and only two words for the name of their farm. They might want around 100 stickers at a time. Anyone have any suggestions on what to charge for these? I haven't really sold anything that we printed before so I'm not sure how much to charge to pay for the ink and the time, etc. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the input. For us, the edges start to curl shortly after it's printed - even before applying it to anything. Especially if it's been printed on all the way to the edge of the sticker. And it seems a little too thin for bumper stickers. Seems like if you buy a bumper sticker at the store, it's a lot thicker feeling. Do you put transfer tape over your stickers before selling them? Or do you sell them without transfer tape? It seems really flimsy to use if it doesn't have tape on it. But we have someone that needs some stickers to hand out to customers and labels to stick on baggies so I don't think they will want to deal with transfer tape being on it.

Hi, I recently purchased a font that is an opentype font. I installed it into my fonts and when I try to use it in Flexi, it only uses the regular type letters, it doesn't let me use the fancier style letters that go with this font. Does anyone know if it's possible to get opentype fonts to work properly in Flexi? Thanks!

Hi, does anyone know if Flexi Sign Pro 8.1 works on Windows 7? Thanks!

I tried reinstalling 8.1 to make sure it would go in the x86 file and it was installing there but still won't install. It keeps saying it's missing the FSUTIL.dll file. And for 8.6 it installs fine and works fine sometimes, but not always. Like yesterday it was working throughout the day but then I unplugged my laptop to run it on battery power in another room and Flexi quit working and wouldn't shut down so I had to power off the laptop with the power button. Task manager won't shut it down when it jams. I posted a message on the seiki forum since this is a seiki edition of Flexistarter (I don't know if it would be different than the regular version or not) and they said they thought something was wrong with my system. Does anyone else have the Flexistarter Seiki edition that they are running on windows 7? Or any other suggestions on what I should try? I'm wondering if I should install XP on my laptop or something. Is there any benefits to Windows 7 over Xp that I would be sorry to lose? Or do you think it would make a difference to buy a regular version of 8.6? Thanks for your help!

So I tried installing it on my new laptop with windows 7 and it comes up with an error saying it's missing a file called FSUTIL.dll so it won't install completely. Also, while I'm trying to figure that out, I installed flexistarter 8.6 on my laptop (the one that came with my Seiki cutter) because I thought that would work on windows 7 for sure, but it keeps getting stuck. Sometimes it works with no problems, but sometimes when I try to open it, it won't open all the way, and gets stuck and sometimes it opens but then won't shut down. And when it gets stuck, the only way for me to end it is to push the power button on the laptop and shut it down that way. Even if I start the task manager and tell it to end the program, it won't shut down. Any suggestions on that one? Thanks!

Hi, I have a Seiki SK870T cutter and sometimes when I cut out a saying (more often than not lately) it messes up the letters on the corners. It lifts the vinyl up on the corners of the letters it cuts out so the vinyl kind of wrinkles up and sometimes I have to redo the letter because it is ruined. I am using Oracal matte vinyl. It does it maybe on 5 letters in the saying and the rest are fine even though they might be the same letter and same size. Any suggestions on how I can fix this so it doesn't ruin my letters?
