  1. Ive been dealing with this problem for some time now but just getting around to seeing whats wrong. I have the Refine 1351 and bought it almost a year ago. Most of the time it works perfect but when i try to do large jobs weather the actual sign is large or there are alot of cuts it will get almost to the end of buffering the file and then my computer crashes and restarts and stops sending info to the plotter. Im using windows xp and the serial to usb cable as my computer does not have any other ports other than usb and fire wire. Also im using artcut for software. Like i said small jobs are perfect but large ones will restart the computer. Please help me im loosing money.

    Thanks Ryan

  2. My plotter will be going along and all of a sudden my computer will restart and i will loose the information that is being sent to the plotter. The error report says the following:

You received this message because a device driver installed on your computer caused the Windows operating system to stop unexpectedly. This type of error is referred to as a "stop error." A stop error requires you to restart your computer.

Any idea what is causing this and what i need to do to fix it.

    Thanks Ryan

  3. Hey Billy thanks for the info. I have to ask what do you mean when you say pins. Not sure what that is. What i have is a background i need to cut first. Then the text and logo will go on top of the background. Ill prolly plot 25 or 50 up at a time like you did then weed the designs. What methods do you use for regristration on multi color jobs? Eyeball it or do you cut something in to line up each layer. Thanks again for the help.

  4. Ok guys and gals i just got a fairly large order of 500 decals. They are close to 1" by 3" so not real big. They are two color so i will have 1000 images to plot. Anything to look out for when cutting this many images? How often to change blade, take brakes to cool plotter maybe only cut 100 at a time. Also what are you guys using for pricing. Thanks in advance.

  5. Question i have a sign im trying to cut and it will be going perfect and then all of a sudden will just start going in a random direction. I have tried to slow down the speed, move the graphic a little in the plot screen, make the graphic smaller. I have this hooked up through the usb cable so i dont know if this is my problem or not. It will get to about 90% done and then just freek out. It will screw up in a different spot everytime. Ill give you a call tomorrow but just wanted to see if anyone else is having this problem. Im using the MH1351. Please help

    thanks, Ryan
