  1. Hello,

My friend want's a rat painted on his hot rod.

I was thinking to cut and outline first and than freehand airbrush but not sure.

Does anyone have a Rat Fink vector?

Doesnt have to be this particular one.

    Thanks

  2. Hi all,

I'm having trouble with avery paint mask and rtype conform clear transfer tape.

The transfer tape is too strong and rips the paintmask off.

I use it for airbrushing logos and art on cars and other stuff.

Does anyone have a good kown combination recommendation of paintmask and tape that is easily to remove?

    Possibly close to TN  :D

    Thanks.

  3. I found some of these overlapping nodes.

But on my cut almost every hole (eyesockets & teeth) has those tiny square cuts.

Could that be caused by the chunking you mentioned? It's like the machine stops in a corner

    and goes back/forth/left/right really fast.

    It's doing that quite alot.

Would fewer nodes be better for cutting?

    Thanks for your help ;-)

  4. Hi all,

whenever I cut something in SBe (either imported eps or vectorized bitmap) it cuts tiny little squares along the lines and curves.

These really mess up the artwork.

I've tried node editor and zoom in close but can't see any tiny squares except, well, the square nodes.

    Help please.

    Thanks

  5. well, I was hoping for some input but I guess this one is tough. Any airbrushers on this forum?

I played with corel x4 and found it does a cleaner job than Illu.

Imported into SB and thought,  why have some parts blue close to or on top of the black?

I really need to cut the black parts first and cut the blue masks to spray later.

So I made the blue black, moved them away and cut. Came out nice and usable.

I wonder why to use two colors, I think Sb cuts only one color at a time anyways, right?

Only thing I would like to have is to cut the separation line between the legs.

Is there a way to make a vector that separates the legs?

Does it have to be a closed vector? or can i draw a line in SB that would just cut this line?

Cheers, any input highly appreciated ;-)

  6. Howdy all,

I'm trying to airbrush this pinup girl and need some help how to cut it right.

Drew it in PSCs3 with pen and imported in AiCs3 eps, saved as version 8 and imported

in SB. Didn't come out that well, many lines cut twice and several square nodes where cut.

All I need SB to cut is once around the blue and black panels so I can lift them as I spray.

I've noticed that it cuts twice where blk and blue areas join, which makes

    a little mess.

So how do I prepare this? (SBE & copam 24")

    Any help appreciated.  :o

  7. Hi there,

I would like to spray paint this pin up. I have a jpg that I traced in PSCS3 with pen tool and stroke. Importet in AICS3 and vectorized.

Then importet in SB and noticed it has outlines. All I want is to cut the outline of the body, mouth and eyes so I can airbrush it.

How can I prepare the file in SB?

    Thanks.
