you are right I will have to play with it some more, the more I look at it the J looks a little thinner than the rest of the letters, I might have to add another small outline to get it right.
-
this is what I have done so far, need to add the drop shade and then size and cut. thanks again. Rick I outlined the J and then welded to get it the same as the rest of the font.
-
Thanks so much, I think that will work, it is for a friend of mine that is doing an RC Airplane for scale competition.

what about using avery lables for office documents, you can get them in different sizes and cut them on you cutter. they have a mild adhesive that should not be a problem.

Just google it, I found several sites with different files, already vectored. Rick

I have never cut this, I got this file off this site and just saved it thinking I would need it some day. I would get a car and make some measurements and then scale it accordingly.

here is one that I have, you can size it accordingly, I think this is for the 99-04 mustang gt. Mustang_GT bumper fills.eps Mustang_GT bumper fills.eps

In flexi 8 there is a tab on the top that say's "effects" click that and the drop down menu has outline in it. select your text and then select outline and a box will open to set the outline width and with or without backing, set these options and then check the box "keep original" and hit the check mark and it is done. hope this will help you.

Skeeter is right, I have a Graphtec on usb and windows 7 and have never had an issue with it freezing or not cutting correctly. running flexi 8, once you go Graphtec you will never go back, as they say!

I am looking for some floral vine type eps for a memorial cross, this will be climbing on the verticle and needs to be some type of flowering vine, or Ivy. I am working with an area that is 2in. wide, all of the things I have found look like crap when reduced this narrow. any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Rick

I loaded this into flexi and it is not a vector image, it needs to be traced and cleaned up a lot. after a simple trace and an ungroup, you can move and delete the text. I tried it but didn't have the time to do a complete clean-up of the nodes. might try submitting to one of the vector guru's for a clean-up. Rick

Looking for about 1 dozen 18x24 white coroplast sign blanks, where can I buy them and not have to buy a full case?

Tim if you have flexi open and if you look at the top tool bar you will see the seventh icon over from the left, It will be a cutter knife, just to the right of the printer icon, click that to open the cut plot and production manager screens. after they open I minimize the production manager and just use the cut plot screen.

John has given you the correct views that I have on my computer, you will need to be cutting from flexi, then you will get the exact screen shots that John posted. good work John that shows what I was trying to explain. Rick

Tim: I am using VE Lxi 8.1 which is a flexi program, If you select a file to cut and go to your cut/plot screen, the one that shows where it will be placed on the vinyl, you should have some tabs at the top. General, Panel, Options, Advanced. select the Advanced tab and look down about half way down the page you should have "overcut and there should be a box to set the size with, little up and down arrows", this is wher you will set the amount of overcut. hope this helps if not let me know. Rick

Ken, looks like you got it sorted out, I think you have found the problem. only 8 volts just won't do it. If you need any diagnostic info or wiring diagrams let me know. I will be glad to send your way. Rick
