  1. Man, I have the laserpoint 24" (Same as pcut) I LOVE this thing. It contour cuts and does every graphic I want to cut. Plus we do t-shirts as well. Only thing I would have done different was get a clam press instead of swing arm heat press

  2. Yeah, legalized scam artist. You have to love that...not! They need to regulate them somehow though. I'd hate to see if someone had all their money tied up with those guy's and they got scammed!!!!!!! That's why I don't use them. My CC verifier here is acually cheaper than PP is as well. So it's better to do business with someone local you can go to

  3. here's a tip...don't keep a lot of cash in your paypal account! When it gets to a certain point (say, $500) start transferring to your bank account. I don't think Paypal messes with the little accounts.

If you need to make a large purchase, you should be doing that with a credit card anyway. Your credit card will usually offer a LOT more protection than Paypal will.

$11,000 in a paypal account is just dumb. You earn little if any interest....and you might as well have it stuffed in your mattress.

The 11,000 was for one transaction, as soon as it hit the account, they froze it up dry.gif

  4. Yes they are, alot of guy's are now using square to do credit cards. I have our own CC verifier here and am able to take cards on the fly from my laptop if I'm at a customers house. You say you haven't had a problem in 3 years, don't worry it's coming though  Just take my advise and don't do large transactions, and don't use money through it you'll need anytime soon. Stay far away from these people if you can!!!!

  5. Hey guy's, have any of you used the Epson cx7800 to print decals? It's an all in one thats why I was asking. Think you guy's were using the wide format ones. I have one laying around and figured I would put it to good use. I noticed it uses pigment ink and was just wondering if it would be of any use.

  6. Yeah the 631 is fine to use. App tape is fairly simple. You have tacky and real tacky. Try the low tacking at first, will be easier on ya. (Will work on both, just as the other app tape will work as well. Vinyl grade depends on how long you want it to last really in an outdoor exposure. I'd use oracal for customers and greenstar for practice, just because that's good business. You go cheap, they'll look at you as cheap lol Look here for pricing different stuff http://www.thesignex...alculators.html Oh boy, where to start on this subject. Those are copyrighted logo's your referring to, better leave that stuff alone. Copyrighted stuff is a huge no no. Do a search here on the forum for copyrighted stuff, you'll see plenty that gets in trouble for that. So my suggestion is stay FAR away from the copyrights

Hope that clears things up for you

great thanks for the speedy reply so would you suggest the 651 over the 631 for customer based products what about application tape will one specific kind work for both greenstar and or oracal. I have a customer who wants a dallas mavericks logo and a portland trailblazers logo i was hoping the starter pack would provide me with enough of the colors to start out but i noticed they did not have a grey in the pack. Also what about pricing i am trying to figure out how to price decals i have a 25" cutter so i can make a decent sized decal but not sure what to price them at especially if i am using more than one color.

  7. Oh yeah, greenstar from uscutter is GREAT STUFF! You say spackled walls? Is it painted sheetrock or drywall as some would refer to it? If so, I've already stuck some to it and yes, it really works well. I'm just wondering how long it will last in the 4 year old girls room. She'll probably have it wrapped around here head b4 long lol. But yeah, the greenstar is cheap and really good stuff. I sure like it. Customer stuff I use oracal 651, I think the guy's around here use it as well.

  8. Gadget, I think I'd rather deal with the rattler's than sand nats!!!!!! I hate those things!!! And yellow fly's, oh man. Went fishing here at Cape Fear River and they ate me alive. The problem was I was in a john boat with a 5hp motor on my friends small boat, and we couldn't get away from them fast enough. Probably ate us up for 150 to 200 yards before letting us go. Those things are little monsters!!!!!! They don't let up. Don't think the ones we ran across had anything to eat for awhile and was feasting on us eheheheheh :o

  9. I completely agree with the process, it's the money thing I do not agree with. I for one would not want to stand infront of a non caring jury...... the point I was making was the "pay" these people receive when they have to go to jury duty. Like I said, I don't agree with them having to go and starving their wife, kids etc. I've had to go several times, I have 4 cousins here that are judges and blamed them for drafting me (Joking with them of course). But even they agreed with me on making someone go to court that "cannot" afford to go. I think it's completely wrong, and in some cases worse then what the criminals did. My only point here is lets pay these people more to go sit in on the jury. The lawyers and judges etc. are making alot of money doing this, and comon the least thing they could do is give them a decent pay for going to court for their time and gas. But, if you don't need the money, waive your right to it if that's what you wish to do. I'm just saying let's have a little sympathy for the poor people that are struggling enough in this economy is all.

I'm done with politics, I just threw my 2 cents in when the guy said he couldn't do it because he couldn't afford to ;D

But what about when someone is wrongly accused? do you want to be judged by a jury of your peers or by a professional jury. I would hate to see what a jury would look like if it was not a random selections of citizens. With Michigan releasing the thousands of extra prisoners my jury might be looking for revenge!

I have seen people I believe were wrongly accused and found not guilty by people who cared - they wasn't judged by someone that does not have the time to be bothered because it wasn't them or their family. it is funny how important the process becomes when it is closer to home!

  10. Yeah to several. I've built a whole lot more than I belong to lol

Why, you looking into joining some, I can point you in the right direction. Even though I usually don't take the time to post, except on this forum, I really like the people here is the only reason I keep coming around lol

Hope I'm not bothering you guy's coming around here. I've been pestering BJ for weeks, he's probably ready to run me off lol

  11. Hey j4, that's what I've been trying to say. It's men like you that shouldn't have to go sit while you loose what money you can get. I have 2 computer shops and been in business for 28+ years, but I've seen friends and family really suffer over this stuff and it doesn't impress me at all.
