TomasB replied to Geeky's topic in General discussion
Being from the North (Canada) I was hesitant at ordering my cutter from UScutter. I'm glad I did they are awesome at customer service and will continue to trust any and all orders from them. -

Just wondering if anyone else is having the same issues. Just recently upgraded my computer and it. Ow runs Windows7. Downloaded it and won't run. It's showing error a message. Had no problems with Vista. Is there a patch I need to install for Windows7? Thanks

I just tried to check what version it is and not clicking the shortcut on my desktop but clicking on it in the file folder. It now works!. Huh!

After finally finding time to play with my new toy I'm amazed at how smooth the Cobra WF1100 CIS works. The colours are vibrant and sharp. Very happy so far will experiment some more.

After some research and positive reviews I decided to order a Epson WF1100 printer with a Cobra Ink System installed. Dealing with Richard was a positive experience that made me feel comfortable in placing my order. I received my order in 3 days. Unpacked it and was very impressed with the CISS install. Very clean. Looking forward to try this baby out. Will post my review with the outcome of my testing of some prints I'm working on. Tomasb

Laserpoint contour cut software
TomasB replied to TomasB's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
After a few more cut jobs regular and contour. I have settled on SignCut. The user interface is very simple to use. Will definitely purchase the dongle version when my trial runs out. Thank you all for your help. Tomas -
I'm not giving in but very close, having way to many issues with SignBlazer , I now am willing to buy software that is compatible ( contour cut ) with the LP. Can anyone give some ideas on what software to purchase. This on & off working issues & re install just to complete the same task I had done days earlier! Nope not doing it anymore. Irrecoverable errors. I'm about to explode Seriously guys what are my options?

Hi Guys & Gals I've been away from the forum hope everyone is doing well. I'm getting close to a deadline for a customer and having issues with contour cutting with Inkscape into SignCut on my LP24. I have all the steps working properly except when I send my cut line to SignCut and go thru the align registration marks then hit enter the cutter plots (testing with pen 1st) reg marks that don't even come close to the printed ones. What gives? Also my reg marks are printed on 8.5 x 11 letter size paper with are approximately 10inches apart length wise but when I hit enter after the alignment procedure it plots ( testing with pen 1st) reg marks approximately 9inches apart. Now when I start with Inscape I make sure that it's document setting is at the 8.5 x 11. When I print I also make sure it's on the identical size setting and the same goes for image and media setting in SignCut is compatible. What am I doing wrong. Thanking you all again in advance, TomasB

I recently posted in several places on the forum in the hopes of receiving some help with a current project. I did this with the reason being I had posted earlier and received no response. Truly , truly I am sorry if this has upset or disrespected anyone in anyway. That was not my intention. My sincerest appoligies. Tomas :'(

I just received a possible order from a customer to make racing stripes and I have no experience at making pinstripes for cars/trucks etc. Is there any easy way to do this. Sorry for sounding like a re-noobie! But if you can point me in the right direction I appreciate it. I design with inkscape & corel X3 & cut with SignCut. Thanking you in advance, Tomas

Finally figured out why I was having contour cut issues THANKS PACO! But now my transfer is only sticking half to my t-shirt and the other half to my Teflon sheet. What am I doing wrong? Tomas

I have taken the advice of many and finally switched over to signcut. I find the program easy to operate and is a well thought out user interface, BUT whats up with the program crashing after 1 cut I need to reboot my computer everytime just to start a new cut. I have tried closing the program, cutter etc. but only will work once I have powered down my laptop and re-start. I'm posting the error codes below if this helps.
