Signblazer on computer with no internet

You can install on a computer that is not connected to the internet. Just fill in your registration details when the software asks and then go to "Get Activation Code" and enter your Software Serail Number and take note of your installation number. Then you can get an activation code online at: http://www.colorchromefirst.com/sbe_activate.htm

    This ever happin ?

I think you are getting these problems because you are using your external hard drive from your other computer. I'm not sure the best way to fix this but what I would probably do is uninstall SignBlazer, remove your external hard drive, re-install SignBlazer to your main drive (not your external drive).

    Cutting text twice

I can't think of anything that would do this. You could try converting to curves before cutting to see if that changes anything. Upload the file here if it is still a problem so that I can try it myself.

    previewing eps files in SBE

The problem is probably that the eps files are in a format that is not fully supported by SignBlazer. EPS and postscript import is one of the areas that we are current working on improving.

    Bruce info please

What you have to do will depend on which version you have installed. If you downloaded the trial of the USCutter version then all you will need to do is register the software and enter the software serial number that you will receive with your cutter. The USCutter version will say "SignBlazer Elements for USCutter" in the title bar of the program. Otherwise you will need to uninstall your trial version and re-install from the CD you will receive.

    signblazer problem

I think it is because you have a pen width specified as well as a fill. Try setting the pen width to "None".

    signblazer problem

Can you try a simple test of just a rectangle in CorelDraw. Then try cutting in SignBlazer. If that cuts twice, can you please upload the cdr file here and I'll have a look.

    Question about combing items

On the cut screen, click on the top color and then hold down the shift key and click on the bottom color. Now it will cut all the colors together.

    Question about combing items

I'll have a look at the problem If you can zip up your file and attach it here. You should not normally have to combine to cut everything together. The cut screen has tools to allow you to set what you want to cut.

    Application Error

Can you please send me the jpg file if you happen to know which one it was. I'll see if I get the same problem.

How often do you get this error and what are you doing when in usually happens?

    stolen laptop

Each of these is handled case by case. If a hard disk crashes we will generally allow a new activation.

    Why is it backwards?

When you go to the cut screen in SignBlazer does it show the preview backwards?

You can download SignBlazer Elements from: http://blazertech.net/downloads/elements/USCutter/SBEforUSCutterSetup.exe Then send me a private message with your Software Serial Number and I'll re-activate it for you.

Cutting out pattern within a block

An additional step is to press "Control-A" to select all and then press the "C" key to combine everything. This will then show it the way you want.

Cutting out pattern within a block

SignBlazer will only cut things within the drawing workspace. To cut the file you need to move it inside the work space. You can do this by: 1) Importing the file. 2) Press Control-A to select all 3) Press the "M" key for "Move" command 4) Set the absolute position to 0, 0 and press enter. 5) Then go to menu "View" - "Zoom Workspace" Go to "Cut" and it should now cut everything.

    Cutting Progress Lines

Do you mean that it is cutting the lines when it moves from letter to letter? If that is the case then I suspect that it is an issue with the cutter not raising the blade when it should.

importing this file will not work

Try this one using the full postscript interpreter option. audiopipe_2.eps audiopipe_2.eps

    simple ways to "vectorize" graphics?

I've just come across this interesting site for vectorizing. http://vectormagic.stanford.edu/ It seems to do a very good job and imports well into SignBlazer when using the full postscript interpreter option.

    text follow arc

You can't undo this because when you did an outline of the text it gets converted to curves or it was converted to curves at some other point in the process.
