Hello all! I am new to the vinyl cutting world. I recently purchased a vinyl business from a friend. Never though at almost 40yo I would be venturing into another type of business.
I am currently a tattoo Artist, but unfortunately my line of work has very few options for generating income as I get older or a retirement plan other than my IRA.
In another 10-15 years, I will be done and will need another source of income. After researching the cutter and supplies he was offering I decided to purchase it.
The items I purchased included tools, a VinylExpress Q42, and about 30 rolls of Oracal vinyl (631&651) for $1,000. I know jumping in blind isn't the smartest idea, but didn't want to pass up on the price.
Anyway, enough rambling and I look forward to getting opinions and advice from veterans in the field.
