It had Seiki T series not T720 only option was to select T series and I deleted the US cutter choice.

Just did the test cut and that was fine, didn't go into the backing, vinyl peels off easily. Also manual says 4. Firstly testing, the holder bracket rises around1/8 inches.When you press " origin key, the bracket will fall down, release the key the bracket will rise up again.It means the carriage and cutter bracket can work properly. Just did all that and all does as it should. Cheers.

1/2 hour ago joined the Seiki forum, downloaded and installed the correct driver. Am just about to see if I can move carriage independently over to the left.Then move it back to the origin point and see if machine will do a test cut.

Hi, I bought it from a dealer 29 Nov, 2018 .I've only switched it on 2/3 times, check that it worked and do the test cut. I did have that accident, when I tried cutting and it went wrong and chewed up the vinyl quite bad, see my other post, Newbie Loading Vinyl Onto Machine March 6th with photos. Cheers.

When I switch the machine on, the blade holder lifts and drops down and the roller rotates a little. If I press the test button the blade carriage moves forwards and backwards doing the test

I have a SEIKI SK720T 28" vinyl cutter plotter and I'm using Sure Cuts A Lot sign making, design software. I've set up THE to print out as a word as you can see in photo 5. As a newbie I lined up the vinyl roll on the left side of the machine, photo 2. However I found when I cut, the little line squares I put on the top left and right corners, these didn't get cut, the cut line was right along the top of the letters as you can see in photo 4. Then I thought I could turn the vinyl round so its edge lined up with the right side of the machine. I found that the blade holder wouldn't let me do this.As a newbie I thought I could alter the origin. I thought this allowed me to start the cut at a certain position. This time the vinyl got chewed up, please help me understand how to set up properly for cutting? I want to reuse the chewed up vinyl but cutting THE on the other side of the sheet. Thanks.
