thanks everyone for the help - nothing worked over the weekend, so I'll give support a call this morning.  I unplugging all cords, taking out the fuse, moving the carriage and nothing helped.  There is no good manual for this cutter and it takes forever to look through the forum or support sites.  If anyone does know of a manual other than the one that comes with the cutter, please let me know.

Yes there is a manual but NO there is no trouble shooting information in the manual..... an yes I did check it before posting -

it was working fine last night all i did was shut it off

I tried hitting the reset and the carriage head is all the way to the left of the machine

Help!  I have a show coming up - all ready to have a full weekend of work and powered on my SC2 and the display and red power indicator light are blinking. Of course its saturday!  Any help would be appreciated.

Oh...so I have to weld the C and the Clark's  - will the cut then be through the C?

I'm having trouble figuring out how to get over lapping letters to cut so that I can use two colors for a stencil application.  I've attached a pdf of my file.  I can't figure out how to get the "c" in clark to cut with a secondary cut to allow for an overlay.  

Any help would be appreciated.  I am new to the program and the terminology associated with each process.
