Cutter speed

Recommended Posts

Is there a cutter speed that is optimum for small detail?    Is there a speed range that that is generally considered acceptable?

Thanks,

Regis - learning , learning (I hope)

Yup... take the cutter "offline" by pushing the "online" button. Then push the "mode" button once. You should be at your speed settings. Use the "-" or "+" buttons to adjust as needed(I typically stay in the 30 to 60 range). To save the settings, push the "mode" button until you get back to the y & x axis setting, and push the "online" button.

Done.

Thanks fire.  It came set at 60 and perhaps that is why I have some problems on smaller items.  I'll experiment within that range.

Thanks again,

I typically run at 40 for every day cutting and slow down to 20-30 for smaller detail
