RegisG 0 Posted August 1, 2008 Is there a cutter speed that is optimum for small detail? Is there a speed range that that is generally considered acceptable? Thanks, Regis - learning , learning (I hope)
firemalt 10 Posted August 1, 2008 Yup... take the cutter "offline" by pushing the "online" button. Then push the "mode" button once. You should be at your speed settings. Use the "-" or "+" buttons to adjust as needed(I typically stay in the 30 to 60 range). To save the settings, push the "mode" button until you get back to the y & x axis setting, and push the "online" button. Done.
RegisG 0 Posted August 1, 2008 Thanks fire. It came set at 60 and perhaps that is why I have some problems on smaller items. I'll experiment within that range. Thanks again, regis
Guest sciondrgn Posted August 1, 2008 I typically run at 40 for every day cutting and slow down to 20-30 for smaller detail
Knobhill 0 Posted September 2, 2008 Use a 60 deg blade, it helps.
