Hit Cut Tile just times out

I was doing some test with the pen with paper 8.5 x 11, and the cutter would write out perfect.  got my first roll of vinyl put in the cutting head and now when i i try to cut it just times out and nothing happens?

Please help.

I have a 15" x 10 yard vinyl in there

the cutter head is in the second hole not the first if that makes a difference?

Cutter should be in the back hole.... pen goes in the front. Make sure to put the cutter back online before trying to cut..
