Losing my cutouts after I vectorize in signblazer

Help. Very new here. I have a decal that needs to holes  cut out. I have designed it as a jpeg. I bring it in ....... convert it to monochrome..... and vectorize it. It looks great. Then i select cutter and the holes disappear. What am i doing wrong.

They may have come in as a white colored shape. Try Edit + Select All then Arrange + Combine. It should punch the holes through.
