bad blade holder

i bought 2 p-cuts about 1.5 years ago, 1 as a back up. i have been cutting materials of different thickness

which requires blade adjustment, so i got the blade holder for the back-up machine out to use. i had problems that i didn't have with the other blade holder. in the bad holder the magnet that holds the blade in is closer to the end of the blade holder.when you put it in the machine there is very little space between the blade and the cutting strip. the blade is also binding up, when you push the plunger to remove the blade it dose not slide very smoothly. i need to try to exchange it for another 1. i have oiled it and tried to push magnet back but it did not help.

Or is this referring to the same blade that were posted about three days ago. In the thread that was locked by one of the moderators because its' only purpose seemed to be bashing USC?

I'm sorry, if this is the same blade holder as you are referring to in the previous post then I can not do anything as this is way past warranty.
