This is all new to me also but this is how I learned how its done. open inkscape and import bit map image. Then select Object and Trace Bit Map. Another window will open click Update Image. Now drag the new Image off the old one. select the old image and delete it. Click Save As and save in Signcut / Import folder. Rename folder , look in lower right open tab and click EPS. now click save and another box should show up make sure Convert Text ( something like that) is checked. Open SignCut and Click on File then Open. Find SignCut Import folder. Double click on Import folder and you should see the new file you saved. Double click on that file and it should open. I hope this helps like I said I'm new but this is how I have been doing it. Tommy

I had the same problem today. I was pulling my hair out trying everything I read in the forms. Then I noticed it was off track. Problem solved works great. Tommy

I have some simple text drawn in inkscape. I saved it in the signcut import folder and when I import its a blank screen. What am I doing wrong...Thamks Tommy
