No there is no pressure sensor on the blade holder, everyone including myself have told you the blade is out too far and how it should be. You also need to set the force on your cutter as well, so with the blade set correctly and the correct force set on your actual cutter will fix your problem. You say you never got documantation when you bought the cutter (The Manual) It's easy enough to google it so you have one... Here l've done it for you... It's the first thing l would of done if l had no clue on what l was doing... A bit of common sense, hope you have a better understanding after looking through the manual. FYI... I like to use a Roland blade holder, it is better quality and has better adjustments... It fits straight in and would be better than what you have, you would need to use Roland blades though because they are different to the Pcut blades. http://www.sc-x2.com/files/man/creation/ct.pdf

Also in the video you can see and hear how hard the blade is coming down and hitting the vinyl... Back it off !! Do a little research on correct settings, you will find heaps about it on this forum.

For one it looks like your blade is out way too far from what l can see in the video. You probably have too much pressure on the blade as well. So the combination of the 2 is pulling up your vinyl and sticking underneath the blade holder and as your cutting thats sticking to what your cutting out which is pulling up everthing as you cut and making a real mess of it !!!

plotter and SD card - need help

So what you are saying is it's only doing it when cutting from the SD card ? Also check this out "Free International Shipping" http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Copam-CP2500-24-Vinyl-Cutter-Sign-Plotter-Tint-Decals-Professional-USCutter-/300631633681?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45ff0aaf11

    can someone please help me

Vectorized it but not a great image and would be a bit of work. I think your better to trace what you want with the Polyline tool and then Node Edit in whatever design program your using.

    eliminating cross lines

Vectorized it then exported to Signblazer. Put a block over where the guns intersect in a different colour. Weld punch through then delete the different colour block. Weld the whole graphic together. Then export back in to corel. More experienced in SB but I'm sure you could do something similar in Corel Guns.eps

    Repeat cutting how to stop??

I'm opening your EPS file in Corel. So what ever cutting program your using open it there. If you changes it to White obviously you wont see the graphic on your screen right ?? Leave as Black then... Click on it and move it away. You will then see one solid Black image and one outline image. Use your DELETE BUTTON to delete the outline and use the solid image to cut. It is still a vector so it will cut it.

    Repeat cutting how to stop??

Edit... It's actually an outline around your graphic. If you change your graphic to another colour you will see the Black outline around it. Delete the outline and it will only cut once.

    Repeat cutting how to stop??

It's cutting twice because you have a thin outlined layer behind your graphic, so it's cutting 2 times when sending it to your cutter. Delete the outline behind it !!!

This is the best l could do, it's a very small file. You will have to edit out the text and replace it, unless you have a larger file to upload. DIPS.eps

    ident a font

Think you will find this is hand lettered straight onto the vehicle in a free hand style with airbrush or stippled effects based on the font "Cooper Black" I love doing this type of work and getting my brushes wet... It has so much more character than vinyl (Not so computerised) Especially with the blend and striped outline. This is how l started my sign career many years ago, and only added the vinyl to keep up with the technology and that was about 20 years ago. I done a 4 year apprenticeship when l was a young buck and now I'm coming up to my 30th year in the sign trade... How time flies So to answer your question it's not any particular font but has similarities to several fonts and the signwriter would have just added his or her own twist to it.

Full version Signblazer Download (all cutters)

Have you tried using a FTDI driver which will create a USB/SERIAL still using your USB cable... Or a Keyspan adaptor which also creates a serial ? What model Pcut do you have ? Where l bought my cutter l was told if you have a CR series cutter that they are not compatible with a 64 Bit OS... Only 32 Bit. So if your cutter is a CR model and running a 64 Bit OS, this may be the problem
