Ok so i have the black face plate off. I have the bottom screw removed that is on the lower left hand side removed. Now what else do i do to remove the actual arm. It cant be this hard.... i dont understand why instructions are included when there's an actual problem. Please help...i have 19 pending orders that i can even touch yet because of this part. Thanks everyone!

no luck... I cant loosen the two black round screw like things. The two up top that are connected to the[/img] white wheels, correct?

Never mind.... I got the whole thing back on and then just the face plate off... now i just need to get the carriage arm out.

Ok please dont think i'm crazy. i got it off, white wheels and all, right? Now i cant figure out how to get it out. Sorry.... I've never owned one until now so this is all Greek to me... Thanks for helping out.

Hey Molly, thanks so much for responding... The carriage arm actually cracked, i just received my replacement but i am seriously at a loss on how to remove the face plate without causing more damage. I specifically requested instructions when i ordered it and NOTHING.... So frustrating....

okay so i totally cant get the face plate off. I'm affraid im going to break it. Any ideas?

Please help... As soon as i hit CUT, the knife pops up, doesn't touch the vinyl and wont cut. I'm cutting matte vinyl so i changed the pressure to 140, once i changed the pressure, it wont cut anything. Not sure if i hit something accidently. But i've been cutting all night until now.. Hello... I am still a newbie... So i have a lot to learn. I just started doing vinyl back in July. I am NOT a graphic designer, so i am still teaching myself how to use to software. I do, what i like to call, Housewife quotes...the cute stuff, like Uppercase Living. However I just started working on a pretty big Corporate Job. When i first got my cutter, it took awhile to even understand how to get started. And pardon my ignorance, but the Black long things that came with it, I think it was to maybe hold the vinly, i couldnt figure out how to use that so i never have. Now i have no clue where they even are at this point. We just moved... Okay but the problem i just started having tonight while doing a 15"x99" quote tonight is that it wont stay aligned at all. So my letters started printing outside the workspace outline... I printed two letters and then just quit. How, without a stand, do i keep the vinyl straight. Or do i need to purchase the stand. I have a week to figure this out and could truly use the help. Like I said, i print out little cute quote for people and i have been doing extremely well with it, but it wasn't really a problem until i started working on the really big stuff.. Misti

Thanks everyone... It's not plugged into a hub just the front of the harddrive. I did have to re-order the USB cable and i do believe it looks a little different. I do have a serial plug so maybe i should try that one. I did a couple of cuts last night and Sign Blazer did two jobs and then froze.. Thanks again! Misti

I've been using my PCUT for several months. Things were going great until i moved and set it all up again. Just a couple days ago, i would complete one job and then go and start something else. Well once i hit cut on the second job it freezes and i have to shut signblazer down and restart it. Then i have to unplug usb from my computer, replug it in, change the settings to USB PORT and then hit the red button on the PCUT so that everything has now restarted and i can cut again. I have to do this every single time. I'm on a huge deadline to get tons of stuff done and this is really slowing me done. Can anyone please help me out? What am i doing wrong?
