Sometimes the answer is that obvious. I've seen it all over the place and didn't realize it. A test is always a good idea. Thanks

I am putting down one of those epoxy garage floor systems and I was thinking of putting vinyl decals on top of the color coat but under the epoxy coat. Has anyone tried this and did you have any issues? I would think this would work, considering vinyl is much more durable than the Mylar colored flakes that you would normally use. I'm just wondering if there is any interaction between the vinyl and epoxy. RetMOS 079/PBBN

I have used ThermoFles from Specialty Materials. Never had a problem of any kind. I first used the stuff to add names and to personalize screenprinted stuff. It always outlasts the ink. Ken RetMOS 079/pbbn

Are you pre-pressing the shirt? Doing so gets the moisture out of the garment. You will see steam escaping from the press which can cool the platen or prevent the ink from transferring evenly. Also try cranking up the heat on scrap shirts-sometimes they just have to forced to transfer. Ken RetMOS 079/pbbn

My buddy's 50th birthday coming up. I am looking for a simple graphic of a truck going downhill. I am adding text, either "Over the hill, Over weight, & Outta brakes!" or "It may be all downhill, but I'm standing on the brakes" Which is better or does anyone have something better? Thanks RetMOS 079/PBBN

Also, are you pre-pressing the garment? Depending on your environment, some shirts will hold a lot of moisture. This will cause the platen to drop temperature quickly and cause uneven heating as the steam escapes. It may also cause the colors to bleed.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. My daughter came up with putting him on the hoods of sweatshirts. I'll let you know how the other kids liked it.

Does anyone have an eps of the Geico money guy---you know the stack of bills with the google eyes? Apperently it is becoming quite a pop culture icon with the kids. Ken

This site has sons of sports logos-professional, college, even vintage. They are not vector, but they are clean high res. images that Trace very well. http://www.sportslogos.net/almanac.php

Thanks so much for the advice.

Thanks. These look pretty cool. I grabbed them all. My first inclination is to use 631 as well. I'll still take any other advice. Ken

I am looking to make helmet stickers for my kid's football team, like the stars and such you get for tackles and hits. I am looking for something a little different from just stars. I was thinking something like sledgehammers or skulls or anything that looks cool. They have to be small, perhaps about an inch or less. Has anyone done these, and can anyone recommend the best vinyl since they have to removable at the end of the season? Appreciate any help. Ken RetMOS 079 PBBN

I would like to make helmet stickers for my son's football team, something like stars or such for tackles and hits. They need to be removable at the end of the season without too much mess. What is the best product and has anybody had experience with this. Also I am looking for a cool design- trying to get away from the typical stars. I am thinking maybe sledge hammers or skulls. Would appreciate any input. Thanks Ken RetMOS 079 PBBN
