What would you charge for this sign?

Stetson, You're definitely right that sourcing it out to a printer would be the best bet... Doing traditional vinyl work on this would drive me insane, but having this done as somewhat of a favor to someone (because they are working with an extremely low budget), I was willing to help them out even at my own expense :-) I shot you a PM, and will most definitely be going through you. I appreciate the gesture greatly, and if I need any other printed signs, you'll definitely be my first choice in the future. Thanks again, bud
  2. First, please let me state that the most aggravating thing in the world is a customer who doesn't understand the time put into weeding small letters, etc. even after you explain it to them. I'm sure this is a mutual feeling, haha. With that said, I had someone request this: ** 36" x 24" Coroplast or PVC (colored, meaning I have to order 10 sheets for just this job... Anyone know of anywhere that does singles? Fellers only sells white, and only up to 24x18".) ** Design was done myself, loosely based on his menu as he wanted ** Wants me to do the installation .... He offered me $70, saying he didn't see why it would cost more. I feel insulted lol So, that being said... What would YOU charge for the above scenario? Oh, for the record... Those letters are around 0.3" tall
  3. I'm not sure if I feel comfortable opening it up, but I might give it a shot... I just don't want to mess it up any worse than it already is.
  4. Ken, The plotter has now stopped working completely. When I turn it on, nothing comes on the display, and no sounds come from the plotter at all.
  5. I did get it to finally cut with no issues, but I am still having the fan issue. So, currently, the 2 issues that my machine has are the fan issue and an issue with the LCD screen dimming severely sometimes.
  6. Cutting the same exact thing, it crashed again in the same exact spot. Not sure if that would be a software error or hardware error.
  7. Also, I was just doing a decent sized job, and got an unrecoverable error in SignBlazer. When I turned the plotter back on, I got something like """""S""""""%2""""" on the display. I turned it off and back on, and it started up fine, but after a short while the fan shut off, and has not come back on yet.
  8. I've just noticed a new problem which appeared with my PCUT 36". Randomly, the fans have been shutting off for a half second or so, then kicking back on. It did this probably 5 times in 30 seconds a little while ago. What could be causing this? It has never done it before. Thanks
  9. Ken, Where should I start to look for this?
  10. On my PCUT, the LCD screen dims severely a lot of the time, sometimes to the point of being unreadable. No problems besides this, anyone have any ideas?
  11. I'll have to cut another one of these stickers, but will post a pic of it when I can get around to it.
  12. I got the roll of vinyl, but never received the Signblazer CD. Edit: I was sent a link to download it, which worked, but I'd still like a hard copy of it.

Vinyl Multi Color Pack or Starter Kit

http://www.signsupply.com/Accessories/Stika_Kit.asp These kits looks pretty good... I ordered this kit (minus the vinyl) and it really does come in handy. I can definitely recommend it. The weeding tool works great, so much easier than using an exacto knife to weed. However, they only go up to 15" vinyl with this kit, but 15" would be all you need to get started.
