  1. Help please. I have never been able to cut from the Mac side. I have always had to use the bootcamp and usb/serial converter. I am running the newest i5 macbook pro, signcut productivity pro, and an mh721 I thought I did everything but all I see in com box is tcp/ip, write to file, and /dev/cu.bluetoothe-pda-sync. HELP!

    To many transfers...

I just moved into a new Mac and in the process was trying to make Signcut work on the Mac side (I've only ever been able to use it on the Boot Camp side). In going from side to side, I have used up what the program calls my transfers. I still have a long time left on the subscription. Can this be fixed? Am I hosed?

    Mac & 721, Bottom line...

Update... Still waiting on a solution. I bought a keyspan USB/Serial but I'm not sure it's the correct one (the one with the two round Serial ports). I'm going to try it later today. I'll keep you posted.

    Mac & 721, Bottom line...

For those who read this and may want to be kept updated, I spoke with Ken about this and we haven't gotten anywhere. I will continue to work with him tomorrow (July 7th) and hope to get this resolved, even if it mean a third party USB adapter or cutting from the windows side of my Powerbook. I will post the resolution here when I get one.
  5. What is the bottom line here... I have read a ton about the Keyspan adapter, Macs working and not, the USB port working and not. What is the bottom line here? I just got my plotter yestereday and nothing yet. First I tried the direct connection via the USB port of my Mac and the plotter. Then I bought a BestBuy USB-Serial...still nothing. I ran a feed test from Signcut X2 and the paper moved, so there is some communication but was unable to cut the sample graphic. What is the bottom line here? Anyone want to sum up all the posts here into one simple primer as to the best way to get things working??;D
