Skeeter, Hi, Finding the cutter within Flexi is not the problem. Its getting the stupid thing installed in win7 x64 thats the headache, the driver package is horrible. If they were packaged how any other driver is packaged it wouldnt be a problem. dll's and inf file and be done with it.

Gotcha! that makes sense, He is using flexi sign, but then he would still need to select a cutter from production manager right? which cutter will he select? --Aaron Except it does not make sense, with this cutter it was working before in WinXP over usb... its just the driver for windows7 is kinda crappy. generelly drivers are packaged as dll's, inf files, this is a pre packaged exe that does not unpack, it requires you do do this button pressing garbage on the cutter to get it into this USB common mode "whatever that is" I understand its a strech sometime to get old hardware working in windows7 let alone x64.. but the company has drivers for them... I have recommended my buddy to call GCC and get some tech support assistance with it... I know horrible, but thats what has to happen sometime

A friend has this cutter.. is there another cutter with a driver that will work with this? GCC's cutter driver is pretty bad. you have to get the cutter into USB Common mode whatever that is. If there is another driver that works with this cutter I'm all ears. He has windows 7 x64. Thanks

Hey everyone, I bought a TC plotter/cutter two weeks ago and its fantastic! so far, However I have some stickers that look like band aids and notice when I cut large stickers such as 14 inches by 4 inches the sticker turns out great and its easy to weed. However when I shrink it down a bit 1.5 inches by about 6 inches theres much smaller holes to de'weed "ovbiously" but it appears like the cutter dosent fully cut the circles out and stops like 95% of the way around the circle and continues onto the next one. so when I de'weed the sticker it rips a bit. Im using oracle 651 with 100g of force and new blades. Is there an option in flexi to like lets say cut 110% of every shape so there isnt any tabs on any of the cut material? it could literally be 101% cutting of every shape... or am I not enabling some crucial options??? Hey everyone I just got a TC series plotter and using FlexiSign which is dope! I have a bunch of oracle 651 Vinyl and the cutting tips that come with the vinyl. I have the cut speed at 100mm per second max is 800 and 45g of cutting force.. I would like to cut stuff a bit faster what's really the limit/force I can stick with? Maybe this is a stupid question.. I also have flexi sign pro 8.1 but dont know how to setup the cutter in it... probably by the time someone replies Ill have figured it out, but worth a shot

Does anyone have a newer version of signlab? I have 7.1 I ended up buying a cutter last week and got it two days ago, but was curious what software I should be looking for. Feel free to post megaupload links I can't find anything online that works very well. Thanks.

Hi there, Well I have SignLab 7.1 FlexiSign 8.1 Signblazer Elements Not sure what really to use? I know there is some free software to come with the plotter for a 1 year membership dont know what that is actually, I'll have to call the support line tommrow and get my serial and the download for whatever I'm suppose to use. Does anyone have any ideas whats free to use in windows? I have Illustrator and inkscape and whatever else to design, although I would prefer photoshop but whatever, humor me. Thanks --Aaron

Hi everyone, I just ordered a TC series cutter 24 inch version last week. After getting it and kinda scratching my head as to how this is suppose to work I had figured it out. Plug the printer in it windows 7 x64 displays it as a comport "sweet" but then apparently you need some sort of other driver that installs it as a printer and translate the plot's over to the serial port. This is what I don't have. Is there a location where I can get a windows7 X64bit driver for this plotter? I really haven't been able to find any site with this on it. Unless I'm blind which is probably the case. I think thats it!, Thanks, --Aaron
