  1. I have contacted Marcel, three time now, each time the machines works for a few minutes then when I shut unit off, go to another program, etc. I loose all communication, I have done what Marcel has recommended, installed a serial port, a parallel port, tried a usb port, all do not work consistently. I think the processor board is out now, because software sends information but units just sits there, stupidly. I contacted Marcel yesterday and today and he has not contacted me back. So what do you think I should do, what would you do, what would anyone do at this point??? Marcel told me there is no return on machines, well what do you think of that. Do you offer money back to a dissatisfied customer at your business?
  2. billy, whenever you buy something you expect it to work, to work as represented in the ad, if not you have the right to complain, maybe you have a good unit and that is great for you, we don't have a unit that works, we have had unit 45 days and gotten 45 minutes usage, you claim to have been around sign business for years - so can you make a living on that amount of production. I just wanted a machine that works, i knew going in this wasn't a roland, but then it is suppossed to be the "highest quality cutter" in it's price range, for the uniformed roland cutters do not cost 5,000 for a 24" unit, they are about 1100.00 because we are buying one and sending this defectuive unit back - whether they want it or not - they will have possesion of machine
  3. generally rubbing sounds mean something is wearing against something, like metal to plastic, metal to metal, plastic to gears, etc. not healthy sounds at all, would you drive your car everyday when the rotors are scraping? you are doiung the same thing here guys, and those who think this is quiet must never have been around high quality machines - roland/ graphtec

    corel draw

our unit worked a total of 30 minutes now it is down again, let's see 45 minutes in 45 days, yea i am rolling in the money now
  5. why does your unit work off usb port and my won't my unit has worked about 45 minutes total since we bought it almost 45 days ago??? what did you do different that made yours work, have you shut it off yet - see if it works again, what software are you using, obviously not artcut 2005
  6. has anyone been sucessful using the corel draw printer output to run the 721 cutter???
  7. so what software do you guys use, if cutter is all you say it is, we sold our software with our roland machines and were getting back into business part time, didn't want to invest a lot of money to start out........... what software do you recommend that will give me correct downforce pressure, 90 corners, no rolling of media, a quieter machine that doesn't sopund like it is about to fall apart, etc.
  8. we have had unit for about 45 days and have more problems than the first guy, rounded corners, bad tracking, no repeatability, no auto origin set, poor quality of cuts, sounds like unit is about to fall apart, no force/ grams pressure isn'r accurate at all, you can change pressure 50 grams and no results then in middle of cut it takes effect, rolling of material when pinch rollers advance material forward, this is just what we have found so far, needless to say 5 calls to marcel and we are still having problems, we hate to shut down computer because we loose interface between unit and software, unit being sold in U.S but software is metric, images move off canvas and cause poor cut quaility or unfinished/ chopped off letters, haven't tried to cut a complex graphic, just plain text......................... how can people sleep at night selling such "junk" we have been running cutters for 9 years so before someone calls me a newbie - don't problem is we have been running roland products and this isn't even close to roland, we had a 1997 camm1 roland that after 8 years of daily service outcut this unit hands down I like on the website it says the are the best highest quality vinyl cutters compared to a kid with scissors, yea it is I guess does anyone, other than company plants, have any success with this unit, get it to actually cut a 90 degree corner??? i wonder how many of these units are sitting in a corner being used as a clothes rack????
  9. we can't get software to load properly, can't get driver to work off usb, the software we got is in chinese, this is terrible, no customner support from ebay seller "selltopia" how do i get my money back??? does anyone care? selltopia sure doesn't
