Got in touch with them, turns out I, unfortunately, must have broke the Serial port when I broke the USB port, but fortunately I'm still covered by the warranty so I just need to replace the motherboard.

Yes, I have. Though I don't have the option of using /dev/cu.usbserial-000012FD, the only options I have are the two that are listed in the pictures.

I'm trying to use SignCut with the Keyspan adapter in Mac OS X Lion, I have installed the latest FTDI and Keyspan drivers that I can find, with my Copam CP-2500 but when I try to send a file to the cutter I just get the dialog that SignCut is sending the file with an unknown amount of time remaining and then it never moves. Any clue on how I might get this working? I did have it working through USB but I accidentally tripped over the USB cord and broke the USB port on the Cutter, and I'd really like to not have to spend $80 on a new motherboard since I have all the pieces for this to work via the Keyspan, technically at least.

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my CP-2500. When I send a Test Feed of my job to my cutter, from SignCut, the vinyl doesn't advance, it just makes a horrible sound until it reaches the end of where it is supposed to go, but then it reverses and pulls the vinyl out of the cutter altogether. It just started doing this today and I'm at a loss as to why it is doing it. I've attached a video of the cutter in as the problem happens if that is of any help. I called and talked to US Cutter support again today, and we got the cutter working, FINALLY!!!, over USB in SignCut. So at least I have a solution for now. Thanks guys!

Yea, I've tried that, unless there is someway to translate steps 4 & 5 to OS X, and it hasn't helped...

Hey guys, I was hoping you all could help me. I'm trying to get FlexiStarter 8.5v2 to connect to my Copam CP-2500 but I keep getting a "Cannot Find Driver" error from the Production Manager, sometimes it'll say "Cutting (And Count Up)" but it won't do anything when it does. It's got to be a problem with the Keyspan because if I connect straight through USB it will respond and cut, not at all what I'm telling it to cut though (Just random lines), but when I try to connect through my Keyspan I just get that error. I'm going Computer-USB-Keyspan-DB9 Serial Cable-Cutter and everything is plugged in. I've installed the USCutter drivers, and the FTDI drivers, and the newest drivers I can find for the Keyspan so I have no idea what is going on... Any help that you can give would be appreciated, I've talked to US Cutter support on the phone several times and still can't get the problem fixed and I've had this cutter for over a month now with no solution...
