Ok, I have had this problem off and on since I got my cutter over 2 yrs ago. I have searched and tried a lot of the suggestions on this wonderful forum. I just found something that just worked for me!! I have been trying to cut something out for the last 30 minutes and it has either scratched the crap out of my piece, or cut straight across when it moved on to the 2nd piece. My solution is... Don't screw the brass fitting so dang tight on the blade carriage!! WooHoo! I hope this simple solution may help someone!! fabgirl!
