I have just saved it back to "8". I have also flattened the layers. The cutter is not here, so I will have to let you know how it works later. The file is correct, I do not understand what gives Boatsideflat.eps

I run a art department for a large printing company... I know Illustrator. I am new to sign graphics, but some changes are happening when I bring the graphic into Sign Cut. I have gone back and ungrouped etc, and it changed elements. But I am not getting in SignCut what I have in illustrator. Please any help is appreciated. I have saved diffrent ways, put on layers done select all, but I am at a loss. File is to large to attach. I can send by Usendit etc. email me at rbuckley@bancroftbag.com

I am wanting to do boat numbers and names. My husband runs the dealership. I run a graphics department across town. I use illustrater non stop, and have a G4 with OS9 and a copy of illustrator just sitting around. I also have a pc laptop, I could use. Now I want to buy somthing fairly cheap but will work good. And will interface with what I know. It does not need to be superfast... just dependable and fairly easy. I would think 24 inches wide would be fine. Thanks Ruthie

Hi I am wanting to buy a cutter to cut numbers for boats. My husband owns the dealership. Size is not real important as they only cover a fairly small area. Now here are my main questions. First I run a graphics dept. I have macs and use Illustrator all the time. What will interface with this. Can I export file directly to a plotter, or what software will I need to interface. I have a Mac G4 OS9 I could use or a new laptop. The mac has Illustrator on it also. Opinions would be appreciated! Money is a concern, but not really speed.
