Does anyone know where to get Polyethylene Plastic, or a name of a Polyethylene plastic? Is this what Sintra is? I'm confused right now because I heard that Sintra is but I also heard its an expanded PVC. Also, does anyone know how important UV preotection is for either product as far as outside wear and do they come from the manf. already protected?

Agghh!! Okay, I tried to cut something and the refine 721 connection must not work because it won't send the info to the cutter, yikes. What connection do I use?

Hello, I just had to reinstall my SB Elements and I can't remember what cutter name I have to select for the cutter I am using (as the Refine MH 721 is not on the list). Can anyone help me out? Also, I tried to cut a fairly long line of 8" letters the other day on it and when it first scanned through it went over and back but then it kept going over and started banging rapidly into the side of the machine and then back over and banging into the other side and started cutting off of the vinyl. So, I just cut small groups of numbers at a time. Any ideas though? Thank you, Stephanie

I have a cleint that specifically wants some sort of plastic for a substrate.The signs need to be 8 1/2" x11". And they need to be durable enough to be outdoors and posted on a sign post with holes at the top and bottom. So I'm thinking, not coroplast. Help?! I have been looking around for hours and all I can find is expanded PVC that supposedly is not good for outdoor singage. Any suggestions?

:help: If I need to open a file of vector art that someone emailed me and is in EPS. or AI. format, how can I do that? There is no option in the list for opening file formats other than the four types of Sign Blazer formats(SBD, BAK, SBB, SBT, and thats it). It doesn't even let me see other types of files or select them in the window. Any Ideas??? Thanks, Steph

Please Help, I feel stupid asking this, but... On the cutting strip for the refine mh721. It looks like there is a piece of masking tape over it. I assumed that it was just part of the strip. Now that I look real close I see a more normal looking strip with a plasic kind of material over it underneath. But I'm still not sure if I'm supposed to remove of the tape (or what looks like tape), it looks perfectly cut like it is supposed to be there. If I am supposed to get rid of the tape, do I remove the clear plastic covering underneath it too? -Stephanie

The Refine MH 721 that I just bought a few weeks ago sounds like it is an alien spaceship that is about to die. I don't mind if that is how it is supposed to sound, it cuts wonderfully. I just want to make sure that it is okay, not that I sit here and let it go to h*#%. I'm used to using a Roland at work so the difference in sound might just be throwing me off. -Stephanie

Is there a way that you can adjust where the cutter starts cutting, so its not way the the right and leaving tracking marks on the vinyl? Similar to where on a Roland cutter you just enter in the Roll after you have your rollers placed and it reads it so it knows where to start cutting(just inbetween the rollers)? -Steph

I ended up reinstalling SignCut, restarted my computer, did a test, then I could cut with SingBlazer. So, how do I use the redsail 720 driver, do I have to reinstall SignBlazer then?

Yes, I did save it in eps. format. and I did change the name. It didn't work though. Thats okay because I bought Sign Blazer Elements, I just need to figure out why it won't communicate with my cutter now; the trial version did. Thanks

I purchased the Sign Blazer Elements a week or so ago. First I downloaded the trial version and loved it but, in order to send something to the cutter I first had to open up sign cut and do a test cut. Now, with the actual software I can't even do that, nothing will send for some reason. I even unistalled sign cut to see if that would help, and nothing. Any idea's??? -Steph
