So I went to cut a strip on my 871. it was 19.25 long in the program. After cutting it it was 19.5 inches long and was a little taller then designed. What is going on? on cut preview it shows the correct size

This is the file.. Want to scan so all fonts are gray

So I have been given a image file that has shading in it. For example the font starts out dark grade, fades to just a light gray with outline back to dark gray. When i import it into vinlymaster it wants to add several colors. What is a easy way of doing this.

So the first shows what is traced in. When i go to print the red i get the following. it wants to cut the star shape out of the box.

Thats what I want to do but how do i tell the software not to cut the star out.
-
So for easy of explaining lets say I have a red square with a yellow star in it as a jpg. I vectorize (trace) the image in. I place two registration marks on top to hel align the two different colors. I have no issue with cutting the decals and stacking them where the star shape is removed from the box. What i'm looking for is a way where I can cut the box without cutting the star shape out.

I have the 34inch MH Series I'm new to all this I have a school logo that is 3 colors. I traced the file into the software and all looks great I was impressed at how well it came out. I put a set of registration marks on top to use to align the three colors up. I have tried 3 times now and get the registration marks on the money but the graphics do not line up. What am i doing wrong.
