Graphtec CE6000-60 stops cutting in the middle of a job

Recommended Posts

I have a graphtec CE6000-60 that is approximately 5 years old and for the most part has ran flawlessly. I recently started having a problem where in the middle of a cut job the cutter will stop processing, the screen on the cutter will change from processing to ready like it finished the job even though it did not, and the cutting blade will sit in its last position. If i go to my print queue on my computer it shows the print job still exists but there was an error.

Have you changed the USB cable?  That would be the first thing to change.  My Graphtec did the same thing.  New cable fixed it. Or if you have a cable too long, it may do it. 12 ft  was  max length for me.
