VINYLMASTER CUT

Recommended Posts

Guest DENIS

Hey everyone'

I have a hard time to figure out how to stop this vinylmaster cut v4.2 stop jumping around all over the roll and cutting here and there, instead of just cutting from one end to another
For example, if I have 22" by 48" design, it makes my cutter to cut one letter in the beginning and then rolls to the end and starts cutting letters in the end, then rolls to the beginning again

So it makes so many unnecessary movements and in most cases ruins the job

and I know that the problem is in the way it send the instructions to my cutter, because original software doesnt do that weird thing...

I use Flexistarter 8.6 cutting software, and it also does the same thing.  Never a problem.  I make very long decals.  My cutter may travel 4 ft  before it starts cutting, but it finishes the entire job. It does not ruin my designs.  Most cutters cut how the design was created. Are you running your cutter too fast?  I never run my cutter fast. Perfect cuts every time. Some cutting software, has optimize cutting order, or may have a different name for it, like tiling. Check Vinyl Master  Example,  you set it to cut the first 12 inches, then it advances to cut the next 12 inches and so on until the whole design is cut to the end.
