Make sure carriage head is away from the side of the cutter, not pressing in the button on the side. Make sure cutter is also grounded to the stand. https://uscutter.com/uscutter-mh-vinyl-cutter-replacement-parts/ If it is still under warranty contact USCUTTER tech support.
