SBE will only run using com ports 1 - 4. Anything higher than that is out of SBE's range. If that's the case, then you need to reassign that com port to a different (lower) number. paz21paz 7 Posted March 18 It shows it's on port 4. I'm looking to get usb001 or usb002 one like that to show up in the list of options in setup. That is the way I've had it connected on other computers.
slice&dice 2,467 Posted March 18 Hey pazpaz, what happened when you installed the STM32 vcp? It should show there on your drop-down list of connections.
MZ SKEETER 4,720 Posted March 19 We have seen this before on here, when people were using Windows 7 and lower. and moving, up to Signblazer, on Windows 10, 11. This OP has a Graphtec, with TRUE USB. (Reading previous posts)The USB001, USB002 does NOT show up in Signblazer set up now.. Don't need another COM. This COM driver will not work for that. They have already said it a couple times. Needs USB001 or USB002 as shown. In higher Windows, Signblazer they are losing the USB001 and USB002. It is not on the list anymore. This photo is on Windows 7. I would recommend connecting with a Tripp-Lite Keyspan Adapter/null modem cable and be done with it. The serial port on a Graphtec is 32 pins, Get an adapter. for the cutter. Tripp-lite has it's own driver.
paz21paz 7 Posted March 19 I got it to show up and my settings are now the same as on my windows 7 computer. The issue now is when I hit cut tile it shows printing error immediately. So it does recognize the usb port now but it's saying error. Anyone have any ideas for this?
MZ SKEETER 4,720 Posted March 19 Nothing more that I can add. Other than get the Tripp-lite Keyspan Adapter/null modem cable. If you want to stay with Signblazer. What I posted above was from memory of another person with the same problem. Graphtec, Signblazer, Windows 11. TRUE USB.
darcshadow 1,641 Posted March 19 I know this may not be what you want to hear, but maybe it's time to move away from Signblazer. Your cutter is a CE6000, correct? You can download Graphtec Studio software for free from Graphtec, it is a great cutting software and decent at design. And if you really want to stay with SB, you can always use it for design and just save the files off as an EPS then open that with with the Graphtec software.
