Pressure for cut not enough

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased  a used SC2 34".  I have everything installed, ran the test and it cut great.  I created my cut file and it sends to the cutter and runs through the cut sequence.  However, the blade doesn't go down with the same pressure it did with the test file.  I've even pushed the pressure up to the max and it still isn't cutting.  Any suggestions?

How did you set your blade depth? Too many wrong instructions out there..  Make sure the wheels of the carriage head are firmly down in the rail. They sometimes come out while shipping/moving. Make sure your blade holder is seated good.  Get down eye level and watch the blade and see what it is doing.

Whenever someone purchases a used cutter, we always ask if you saw it demonstrated by the seller and confirmed that everything was operational and cuts were fine?
