Is 24" Oracle 651 vinyl outdoor worth the price?

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys

I am looking for a vinyl cutter for my craft business. A vinyl cutter is essential for making wall art, stickers, car decals, and heat transfer motifs. Even the most experienced crafter must have a good-quality vinyl cutter to create high-quality designs.

The best thing about a vinyl cutter is that it can be used to create intricate and complex designs quickly and easily. It can also be used to create large graphics with ease.

When looking for a vinyl cutter, there are several factors: size, capabilities, quality of materials, and price. The size of the machine should fit your workspace and budget. The capabilities should include cutting thick materials like cardstock and fabric and thin materials like vinyl and paper. While doing my research, I came across a few cutters. Please help me choose which one is with and why?

Cardstock? Fabric?  I don't think so. That's for small Cricut machines, not the regular full-size vinyl cutters we mostly use.

(Maybe Graphtecs can handle that stuff, but you're talking thousands of $$$)

Your questions are all over the place. I have a suggestion for you ----  go start a thread describing yourself, your background, your interest, and post to Introductions first, and let us get a feel of your experience level with graphics & design, and what you are intending to accomplish.

I will say one thing here. Yes, Oracal 651 is worth the price. It is the main standard product of this entire industry.

Hello Everyone

Last week I asked about viny cutters for my craft business. I got feedback from a few members. However, I also took Google and searched for vinyl cutter reviews. I found some great resources that gave me insight into the best models within my budget. Here I am sharing the information I got.

1) Yes, the 24" Oracle 651 vinyl outdoor is worth the price. It has a high-quality cutting head designed for outdoor use and can cut through thicker materials than most other models. The blade is also adjustable, allowing you to customize your cuts to fit your projects perfectly.

2) Heat transfer vinyl is a great way to customize items like t-shirts and other apparel. It is an easy process that can be done at home with the right tools. The material comes in rolls; you need a vinyl cutter, heat press, and other supplies. The material stands up to wear and tear and can be applied to almost any material.

3) The main difference between outdoor signal and heat transfer vinyl is the type of material. Outdoor sign vinyl is specifically made to be used outside and is thicker than regular vinyl. It also has a stronger adhesive that can withstand extreme temperatures and weathering. Heat transfer vinyl, on the other hand, is thinner and more flexible, allowing you to apply it to the fabric easily. Neither type of vinyl is waterproof, so it’s important to ensure your project is safe from the elements before using either one.

4) A Rapid weeding kit is a great tool for those who need to weed their vinyl designs quickly and easily. The kit includes all the necessary tools to remove the excess vinyl from your project without damaging or distorting it. It also makes the entire process of cutting, weeding, and transferring much simpler and quicker.

5) There are a variety of online sites that offer coupons and deals for vinyl cutters. Many online craft stores, as well as companies that specialize in vinyl-cutting products, will have discounts available from time to time.
