I've been asked by a friend if it's a good time to start a business doing vinyl decals?

My reply is 'Absolutely!"

Few other business operations can be started for $1K. and can even be done at home.

I remember my first sign job, and what amazed me (and still amazes me) is that customers have been quite satisfied, even though I went into this with No Prior Experience.

Knowing my limitations, and focusing on things that can be done in my basement (I used to have a storefront retail location, but no longer), by my calculations, if I sell signs every week that're worth around $400, that's a $20K income annually -- since I collect Social Security, my income limit is $18,500, so this type of on-the-side self-employment is beautiful.
