Scratchthejeepguy 77 Posted April 12, 2021 I've been using Greenstar layflat classic paper tape for most of my stuff, but have also used Transfer Rite 1310G Ultra clear when I really need to line things up. I need to order some more of the standard paper tape, but USCutter is out of the 24". Does anyone have any suggestions for cheap transfer tape or where to get it? Also wondering if I should go to a high tack tape. I've never used it, but often when I'm pulling the paper backing off the vinyl, I start lifting some of the small parts of vinyl off the transfer tape. Whci do you all use more, medium or high tack transfer tape? (BTW, I'm using mostly Oracal 651) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I have been using Main Perfectear paper tape for over 10 years, Never a problem, Can be bought in medium or high tack. Cuurently our of high tack https://uscutter.com/Perfectear-Plus-Gxp750-100-Yard-Medium-Tack-Transfer-Tape/ I also buy on Ebay. Michigan dealer who does have high tack. Been buying here for many, years. If you purchase a 48" roll you can get it slit free. MZ SKEETER 4,688 Posted April 12, 2021 I use both... Depends on what I am doing. I keep 30" 24" 18" 15" 12" 9" 6" I have both 24" Medium and High tack, the rest is pretty much all high tack.
