CT 630, won't cut, says "Working Laser"

Hi, new to Pcut/Creation CT 630 cutters. (I've got a Roland but it died last week!)

I've installed the drivers in Windows 7 in accordance with the instructions on the USCutter site.

When I send a print job (from SignLab 9.1) the cutter only responds by displaying "Working Laser" nothing else happens. I can only clear that message by turning off the power or pressing the red emergency button.

Can anybody suggest anything, please?

I don't know anything about Signlab. But did you match the com port number  in your cutter software set up to the com port number assigned in your computer device manager?  If your connecting thru USB.  They must match and be  between numbers 1-4.  Over com port 4 will not work.  You should be sending a cut job, If your cutting. not a print job.
