Floor Graphics

Recommended Posts

I have a client that wants floor graphics (with some small text).  I generally just do wall or glass vinyls, so the vinyl I have on hand is Oracal 631 and 651.  Can I use one of those for the lettering and then cover with a sheet of the Oracal Oraguard 250AS Anti-skid PVC laminating film?  Does anyone have any suggestions?  These are for use in various buildings at a state college.

Oracal Oraguard 250AS Anti-skid PVC laminating film requires a high pressure cold-laminating machine.

Durability: 3 months

Are these to be removed in the future? If not, a clear epoxy might give you the desired results.

I did a large logo in reverse that a client used as a stencil and stained a floor with it and then pulled up the vinyl.

I do not think that floor applications of any vinyl product will withstand foot traffic beyond a short period.
