I want to print an outline and have added a 1/4" black stroke to the gold text in Adobe Illustrator but when I open the file in Signcut I do not see that outline.  I was going to add registration marks and cut both colors.  Not sure what to do now.  Please help asap!!!

Stroke is considered a "live effect" in AI and won't come through the translation to SignCut. You can fix this several ways. One is simply expand the appearance (from the Objects menu) However AI will shift the outline of the original text to the middle of the new outline (making it larger by half your outline width) and the outline will be it's own compound path. I use this method when cutting HTV and want a nice true outline without doubling up the vinyl on a shirt. Saves a lot of prep time in the design stages.

The second method it to create the outline using a Path Offset which will create a new large (or smaller) object directly behind the original and it will be full and complete and ready for layering. This method is preferred for regular sigh vinyl if you are planning to layer your colors.

Thanks Wildgoose.  I expanded the stroke from the object menu.  I also brought it to the front and Voila!  It all showed up on signcut.  Oddly enough though, signcut had the stroke color (black) as the number and the number color (gold) as the stroke.  Doesn't matter because I can load any color of vinyl I want but I thought it was odd.  I may try to use the path offset method you described and see if that is easier.  Thanks again!
