Primal Decals 621 Posted September 22, 2016 So i did a couple 2x4 banners awhile ago and everything was fine, I ordered my banners and designed and cut my vinyl as needed and had plenty of room for what i needed,, Sold to customers..cha ching.. Well i ordered a 3x6 banner and did the same thing,,,,,Bad idea...Had everything ready to apply when banner got here and OMG. The banner was cut down 4" in height and 4 inched on length.I didnt pay attention that the banner listing said 34" lol..So new rule of thumb is to not cut before knowing the actual dimensions of usable area lol. luckily i was able to mod the design to work and save my rear...I just cant believe that when you order a banner at a certain size, that it should be that size... Major rookie move on my part..Lesson learned
slice&dice 2,450 Posted September 23, 2016 Yep. I make it a firm rule in my shop to have substrate on the table prior going to cut the vinyl.
